We are actively recruiting Canadian Clinical Laboratory Technologists for a full-time opportunity within a high-acuity hospital and trauma center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA . The facility supports a wide range of inpatient and emergency services, and candidates with Blood Bank or General Laboratory experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Description
The Clinical Laboratory Technologist will perform essential diagnostic testing within a hospital laboratory supporting both inpatient and emergency care services. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory testing according to established procedures, analyzing and reporting results accurately and efficiently, maintaining quality control and safety standards, operating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation, and collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment decisions. Compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards is required at all times.
Compensation & Benefits
- Starting salary from $29.00/hour up to $38.00/hour
- $10,000 sign-on bonus
- $8,000 relocation assistance

Relocation & Immigration Support

Work Schedule
Monday–Friday
Day shift only
No rotating nights or weekend requirements (stable schedule)
Responsibilities
Perform clinical laboratory testing according to established hospital procedures
Analyze and report laboratory results accurately and in a timely manner
Maintain quality control standards and laboratory safety protocols
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and hospital standards
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field
ASCP or ASCPi certification
Minimum 2 years of hospital or commercial laboratory experience (case-by-case consideration possible)
Experience in Blood Bank or General Laboratory strongly preferred
Eligible for U.S. work authorization pathways (TN transfer, H-1B transfer, or sponsorship options available)
