Industrial Business Development Executive Eastern Region
Position Overview
The Business Development Executive for the Eastern Region will play a critical role in accelerating growth for AIMS Companies across the industrial sector. This position focuses on building, strengthening, and expanding relationships with industrial contractors, owners, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders. You will identify and secure new business opportunities while positioning AIMS Companies as a trusted industry partner. Through strategic sales initiatives, market intelligence, and high-impact relationship development, you will help expand our presence and drive sustained success throughout the Eastern market.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Development & Account Management
- Build, maintain, and cultivate strong relationships with industrial contractors, facility owners, EPC firms, and subcontractors.
- Serve as a trusted resource and primary point of contact for key clients and prospects.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Identify upcoming bids, RFQs, and RFPs in both the public and private industrial markets.
- Gather actionable intelligence on pricing trends, competitors, market shifts, and active or upcoming projects to strategically position AIMS Companies.
New Business Growth & Market Expansion
- Develop new opportunities across core and emerging service lines within the Eastern region.
- Proactively pursue and qualify leads, expanding AIMS Companies footprint throughout the industrial marketplace.
Bid, Proposal & Internal Collaboration
- Partner with branch managers, operations teams, and estimating personnel to prepare competitive, accurate, and timely proposals.
- Ensure bid responses align with client expectations and overall company strategy.
Networking & Industry Engagement
- Represent AIMS Companies at industry conferences, trade shows, association meetings, and networking events.
- Promote brand awareness and cultivate new business relationships.
Revenue Generation & Pipeline Growth
- Drive sustainable revenue growth by consistently identifying new opportunities and developing long-term client partnerships.
- Maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline.
Reporting & Strategic Input
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Industrial Services East Business Unit, including progress reports, market insights, and competitive activity.
- Contribute to strategic planning by sharing field intelligence and industry trends.
What We re Looking For
- Industry Experience: Proven background in business development, sales, or client relations within the industrial sector.
- Regional Network: Strong relationships within the Eastern region s industrial market are highly preferred.
- Technical & Market Knowledge: Experience with coal-fired power plants, oil, and ethanol refineries is a plus but not required for employment.
- Communication Excellence: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to effectively negotiate, influence, and connect with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to secure new contracts and high-value partnerships.
- Self-Motivated Performer: Highly organized, able to work independently, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, site visits, and other business needs.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and modern sales tools.
