We are currently seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to assist the Director of Nursing in leading our nursing department and maintaining our high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Director of Nursing with the overall management and smooth operation of the nursing department.
2. Ensure compliance with all documentation regulations from physicians and nursing staff and the implementation of regional policies and procedures.
3. Make daily rounds to direct staff, observe potential hazards, address work issues, and ensure care delivery aligns with patient needs.
4. Support Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives and follow up on corrective actions.
5. Monitor each unit daily to ensure accurate reporting of status changes and proper delivery of services.
6. Conduct chart audits under the Director of Nursing’s direction, report findings, and recommend improvements.
7. Ensure adherence to proper infection control practices.
8. Maintain open and effective communication with families, residents, and staff.

Qualifications:

1. Current RN license required.
2. At least three years of nursing experience with a minimum of one year in a supervisory role.
3. Experience in long-term care or geriatric population preferred.
4. Strong clerical and data management skills.
5. Proven ability to organize, plan, and manage nursing services and personnel.
6. Ability to coordinate effectively with other departments.
