Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Bridgeport, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading tech and data center location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as directed by site procedures, and help support controlled access within a data infrastructure environment.
- Support daily operations by completing reports, communicating with staff and/or contractors, and following post instructions related to security-related concerns, facility rules, and emergency protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
