Must have completed ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years ABA Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time position for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is available to support K-12 students within a school setting in Tuscaloosa, AL. This contract role lasts from ASAP through the end of the current school year and involves working with both individual (1:1) and group settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral support and interventions to K-12 students according to individualized plans
• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Collect and document accurate data on student progress and behavior
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to promote student development
• Assist in managing classroom behavior and supporting positive learning environments

Qualifications & Experience:

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credential required
• Sub Teaching Certificate and/or prior school-based or behavioral experience strongly preferred
• Comfort working with a diverse K-12 student caseload in both 1:1 and group formats
• Strong communication and data collection skills
• Ability to follow behavior intervention plans and work collaboratively in a school environment
