We are currently seeking a qualified Part-Time Admissions Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals.

🏥 Position Overview: Admissions Coordinator (Part-Time)

The Admissions Coordinator plays a vital role in maintaining resident census and supporting facility growth. This position coordinates the admissions process, develops and supports marketing initiatives, and serves as a liaison between the facility, referral sources, and the community. You will work closely with the Admissions Committee and facility leadership to ensure admissions align with the goals of the facility while providing a positive experience for residents and families.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain resident census in alignment with facility goals
2. Coordinate the admissions process and assist families with administrative questions
3. Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families
4. Complete admission paperwork and verify insurance coverage
5. Coordinate with hospital discharge planners and case managers
6. Utilize nursing or clinical knowledge, when applicable, to assist with assessments that support appropriate admissions
7. Act as a liaison between the facility and community referral sources
8. Conduct market research and provide routine marketing recommendations to the Admissions Committee
9. Coordinate marketing efforts across the Admissions Committee and facility staff
10. Evaluate resident and family satisfaction with the admissions process
11. Represent the facility at community and civic organization events and functions
12. Stay informed on market trends and direct Admissions Committee participation in community outreach

🧾 Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in the admissions process required
2. Ability to work effectively with discharge planners, case managers, physicians, referral sources, residents, families, and staff
3. Strong customer service and public relations skills
4. Demonstrated ability to present and speak publicly
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
6. Must be at least 18 years of age
7. Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
