Assistant Manager of Catering

Role Purpose

To lead and steward all aspects of Catering Sales and Execution, ensuring operational excellence and remarkable guest experiences both inside and outside the restaurant. This individual will align daily execution with the Operator’s vision, set the standard for service, and represent the brand in the community.

In-Restaurant Responsibilities

• Collaborate with peers and team for inventory needs related to catering, ensuring food and paper goods are prepared in advance.
• Partner with Operations to assign delivery drivers and ensure timely, accurate event execution.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the catering equipment and designated areas.
• Document and standardize catering procedures across the team.
• Develop and deliver training for all Team Members involved in catering execution.
• Evaluate guest feedback and experiences to drive continuous improvement.
• Share operational insights and suggestions with the Marketing Director and Operator.

In-Community Responsibilities

• Serve as a brand ambassador, building and nurturing community relationships.
• Manage and grow current catering partnerships.
• Proactively distribute catering marketing materials and generate new business leads.

Reports and Tools

• Demonstrate mastery of Catering Management Tools and POS operations.
• Use ServicePoint Store Management and Analytics to track catering trends and opportunities.

Must-have Skills

• Strong organizational, planning and project management skills.
• Capable and passionate about building relationships with guests.
• Ability to multitask, delegate authority when appropriate, and make decisions quickly.
• Experience with Microsoft Word & Excel, and Google Calendar, Drive, and Forms.
