A little about the job....
Cleans, assembles and sterilizes instruments and equipment and ensures proper operation of instruments and equipment.
Qualifications for the job...
- Must be able to acquire and effectively utilize knowledge of aseptic techniques and procedures, and ability to identify large number of various instruments and equipment.
- Work requires three to six months on-the-job training to acquire necessary familiarity with department procedures.
- Previous central sterile experience and certification in sterile processing preferred.
