Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Industrial maintenance Electricians for an immediate start in The Villages, FL

• PAY: $22-$30/hour (based upon experience)
• HOURS: Shifts will be 8-10-hour workdays, 5 days per week
• SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday- Friday; 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• START DATE: ASAP
• Length of the project: Temporary to Permanent

Maintenance Electrician Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities for Maintenance Electrician:

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in industrial machinery.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Install and maintain wiring, control panels, motors, and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and other control systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns to support production needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
• Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
• Must have standard electrical hand tools.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (electrical and mechanical).
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, mechanical systems, and industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with PLCs, VFDs, and automation systems.
• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CMMS software a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Requirements for Maintenance Electricians:

• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
