Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000
Location: Hybrid (Remote + Office)

Position Overview
As a Tax Senior, you'll be a key contributor in preparing and reviewing complex business tax returns, supporting tax planning strategies, and building strong relationships with clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a public accounting environment and enjoys working with small to mid-sized businesses across various industries. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state business tax returns (S Corps, C Corps, Partnerships)
• Assist with tax planning and strategy development for business clients
• Conduct tax research and provide guidance on complex issues
• Collaborate directly with clients to identify tax-saving opportunities
• Support clients during IRS and state audits
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to their development
• Stay current on tax law changes and industry trends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA not required, but actively pursuing CPA is strongly preferred
• 3-5 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on business tax returns
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations for business entities
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
• Experience with tax software and workflow tools
