Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Mechanic to join our team in Montgomery, AL, 36117. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of electric motors and related equipment. If you have a passion for mechanics and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in electric motors.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of electric motors.
- Disassemble and reassemble motors and related components as needed.
- Test and inspect motors to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
- Proven experience as an Electric Motor Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and motor mechanics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
