Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping Clerk to join our team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, hands-on, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will assist with shipping and receiving operations while ensuring accuracy and organization of inventory and shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and maintain records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Use a hand truck or other equipment to move materials to designated areas.
Shrink wrap or band shipments as required for transport.
Unpack and inspect incoming shipments, identify damaged items, and report shortages.
Communicate with shippers to resolve damages or discrepancies.
Process defective parts returned for replacement or credit.
Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
Perform necessary computer tasks to track shipments and inventory.
Coordinate carrier pickups based on customer purchase orders.
Report defective materials or shipping issues to management.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to lift 25+ pounds and move loads up to 40 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
