Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This travel opportunity is tailored for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings, located in Heflin, AL. The role focuses on providing both Extended School Year (ESY) and Non-Extended School Year (NSY) services across primarily four elementary schools, with occasional work at up to seven schools in total. This position requires dedication to supporting students’ communication needs through collaborative and individualized therapy plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services during ESY and NSY periods.
• Manage caseloads primarily within four elementary schools and support services at additional schools as needed.
• Develop and implement therapy goals based on assessments and ongoing student progress.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create effective treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Adhere to school policies and educational standards within the travel assignment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) recognized for school-based practice.
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
• Prior experience working in school environments highly desirable.
• Commitment to working 37.5-40 hours per week.
• Candidates must be SLPs; SLPA applicants will not be considered.
