Qualifications & Requirements:
- ASHA Certification and valid ABSESPA Licensure
- State of Alabama Professional Educator Certification
- Fingerprinting and background check per state guidelines
- Any required licenses specific to Alabama SLPA roles
- Experience working with school-age children preferred
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language support to assigned caseloads within school settings
- Collaborate with supervising Speech Language Pathologists and educational teams
- Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and document student progress
- Adapt materials and interventions to meet individual student needs
- Participate in school-based meetings and professional development opportunities
