About the Position

Carmichael Road Animal Clinic is looking for a compassionate Medical Director. This is a great opportunity for an experienced veterinarian with a desire to lead our practice. The incoming Veterinarian will be responsible for overseeing all professional services, implementing veterinary and patient care policies and procedures, licenses, and related matters, and will ultimately serve as “Veterinarian in charge.” We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional small animal general practice services to our loyal clients and their pets. Our well-equipped facility includes modern diagnostic tools, a fully equipped surgical suite, and an experienced, dedicated support staff to help you provide the best care possible. As Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the medical team, shaping clinic policies, and driving the practice toward new heights of success.4

Job Summary

The Medical Director is responsible for providing medical leadership for the hospital, managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. The Medical Director is also responsible for creating an environment of teamwork in which quality medicine and exceptional client service are delivered.

In partnership with the Hospital Manager, the Medical Director is responsible for the financial performance and general operations of the hospital under the guidance of CareVet leadership. In addition, the Hospital Manager and Medical Director are responsible for cultivating a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Carmichael Road Animal Clinic have been serving the Montgomery community for over 35 years! Carmichael Road is a full-service animal hospital and welcomes both emergency treatment cases as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical and dental care. We are also the home of Montgomery’s only exclusively feline facility, the Cat Clinic of Montgomery.
