Position Overview: Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to help maintain clean, sanitary, and well-organized linens and clothing for our residents. This role plays a vital part in infection control, resident comfort, and maintaining a welcoming, home-like environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing
2. Follow infection control and safety procedures
3. Sort and handle laundry according to facility guidelines
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
5. Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
6. Report maintenance or equipment issues promptly
7. Support a clean, comfortable environment for residents

Qualifications

1. Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
2. Ability to operate laundry equipment safely
3. Strong attention to detail
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Dependable with a positive attitude
6. Commitment to cleanliness and resident comfort
