Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and logistics industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics and supply chain team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Sterrett, AL

Pay Range: $16.00

Shift: First Shift - 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Operate sit-down forklifts to move, locate, relocate, and stack materials and products safely and efficiently.
• Ensure accurate loading and unloading of goods, maintaining proper documentation and inventory control.
• Perform routine safety checks on equipment and report any issues to management.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

What's Needed?

• Previous sit-down forklift operating experience is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Basic math and reading skills for inventory management.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
