Qualifications for Our CNA Training Program:
- High-school diploma or equivalent
- Compassion for the elderly
Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):
- Help residents with day-to-day activities such as bathing, grooming, meals, dressing, etc. under the direction of a nurse
- Maintain patient comfort and safety
- Document vital signs, weight, meal intake, bowel and bladder, etc.
- Assist with Restorative Nursing duties
- Answer call lights promptly
- Performs CNA skills
- Observe and adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures
- Identify safety hazards and emergencies and help initiate corrective action
- Identify special resident problems, xrczosw report them immediately to the nurse, and take an active role in helping problem solve to resolve the issues
- Review resident profiles and perform nursing care as outlined
- Observe infection control procedures
- Restock supplies for the next shift
