• Horticultural knowledge (i.e., plants, soil science, climate conditions)
• Landscape construction methods (i.e., drainage, hardscape construction)
• Project management (i.e., planning, overseeing timelines and resources)

Responsibilities

• Reading landscape design | construction plans to lay out a project accordingly
• Sequencing the order of operations for each landscape project from its initial demolition to final polishing
• Accurately assessing the skills of the crew and delegate tasks accordingly
• Constructing various hardscape elements such as retaining walls, patios, and pathways
• Installing various soft scape elements such as trees, shrubs, and turfgrass

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience managing landscape construction projects
• Safely pulling trailers and operating landscape construction equipment and tools
• Ability to pass a preliminary drug screening and background check, including a motor vehicle report

• Ability to access and navigate our bulk yard, loading areas, office space, and other areas of our facilities
• Strength, stamina, mobility, and ability to carry 80 pounds, as well as perform physical work outdoors, especially during hot and cold weather conditions
• Associates or bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Landscape Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a similar field is a plus!
