Ally Psychiatry is seeking a compassionate and motivated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing behavioral health team serving community mental health centers throughout South Alabama. This full-time position provides the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in underserved communities while working alongside experienced psychiatrists, therapists, and behavioral health professionals.

The provider will deliver psychiatric evaluations, medication management, treatment planning, and ongoing psychiatric care for adult and adolescent patients across multiple outpatient community mental health locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions
• Provide medication management and follow-up care
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and community mental health staff
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the EMR
• Participate in treatment team meetings

Call Schedule

• Approximately one night of call per week
• Approximately one weekend of call per month
• Shared call coverage with the behavioral health team

Requirements:

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• Active Alabama license or ability to obtain licensure
• DEA registration or eligibility
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• New graduates with strong psychiatric training are encouraged to apply
