Ambassador Personnel is currently recruiting for a Sanitation Lead/Supervisor. This is a great opportunity!

Position Summary:

The Sanitation Lead/Supervisor is responsible for supervising the sanitation workers to clean and coordinate cleaning tasks per the Master Sanitation schedule and customer requests on an as-needed basis. Work with the Sanitation manager to direct and ensure the completion of daily tasks through one-on-one direction of hourly employees, follow-up, and inspections.

Essential Job Functions/Requirements:

Must have at least 1-3 years of Supervisory Experience

Must possess a valid forklift and/or scissor lift license if required by job duty.

Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, and climb under and onto machinery and equipment.

Must be able to stand and work from a ladder for up to three hours.

Must be able to clean above ladder heights with the aid of an OSHA-approved apparatus.

Must be able to enter and exit confined spaces.

Must have the ability to push and pull wheeled carts weighing 1500 lbs. a distance of 100 feet.

Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs.. (bags of ingredients weigh 50 lbs. each) . Must be able to stand for up to four hours with a 15-minute break.

Must be able to work extended shifts up to 16 hours with designated breaks and lunch.

Must be able to accomplish designated tasks in the assigned time frame.

Must be able to work different shifts as schedule demands.

Must be able to hear and respond to audible alarms.

Must be able to read, comprehend, and practice necessary safety procedures. Must be able to complete necessary paperwork.

Must be able to wear and use approved safety equipment.

Must be able to pass OSHA-required safety training.

Must be able to follow all plant GMP rules.

Must be flexible to adjust the schedule to meet production downtime.

Must be able to work well with others daily.

Sensory: Can distinguish color-coded equipment, containers, labels, signs, etc..

Communication:

Must have speech and hearing abilities that allow the individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English, and/or another language if required.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
