About the Role:
The Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the overall success and growth of the financial institution’s branch by leading sales initiatives and fostering a strong sales culture. This position is responsible for managing daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and delivering exceptional customer service to both individual and business clients. The Branch Manager will oversee the development and management of the loan portfolio, including commercial loans, while cultivating strong relationships with credit union members and business-to-business partners. By implementing effective business strategies and motivating the team, the Branch Manager ensures the branch meets or exceeds its financial goals and operational targets. Ultimately, this role is critical in enhancing the branch’s market presence and contributing to the broader organizational objectives within the finance and insurance industry.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in branch management or a similar leadership role within the finance or credit union sector.
- Proven track record in branch sales and team management with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Strong knowledge of commercial loan products, credit analysis, and loan portfolio management.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards applicable to financial institutions in the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the branch sales team to achieve and surpass sales targets through effective coaching, training, and performance management.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales culture that encourages proactive outbound calling and relationship-building with prospective and existing clients.
- Oversee the evaluation, approval, and management of commercial loan applications, ensuring adherence to credit union policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage the branch’s loan portfolio by monitoring performance, mitigating risks, and identifying opportunities for growth and diversification.
- Implement business strategies that align with corporate goals, optimize operational efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Build and sustain strong business-to-business relationships to expand the branch’s commercial client base and service offerings.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements to maintain the branch’s integrity and reputation.
- Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, sales activities, and market trends to senior management.
