Job Description

TCS is searching for a Principal Systems Engineer to join our strong team of Systems Engineers supporting our Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) customer in Huntsville, AL. The GMD program is a portion of the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) system to protect the US and our allies from ballistic missile attack.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 5 years of related experience or a master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 1 year of experience.
• Missile Defense Domain knowledge
• Experience working in Hardware and Software integration
• Applicants must have a strong background in MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering) and the use of SysUML to describe behaviors of a complex DoD system.
• Capable of working both independently and within a small team environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.
• Applicants must possess a current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD issued Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications :

• Experience with Cameo
• Experience with INCOSE Systems Engineering
• Current CompTIA Sec+ certification
• A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
