LITIGATION PARALEGAL
MONTGOMERY, AL

Job Summary: Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with at least five years of experience and a proven record of long-term, stable employment . The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial and appeal, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism in all case management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, draft, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other legal documents.
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial binders.
• Conduct legal and factual research to support case preparation.
• Summarize depositions, medical records, discovery responses, and other key documents.
• Manage deadlines, court calendars, and document production.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including witness coordination and trial exhibits.
• Communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel in a professional and courteous manner.
• Support attorneys during hearings, mediations, and trials as needed.
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm setting.
• Stable work history demonstrating reliability and commitment.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and filing systems (including e-filing).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, document management software, and legal research tools.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred.
