Warehouse Lead

Position: Warehouse Lead
Location: Theodore, AL
Pay Rate: DOE

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Lead to coordinate and oversee daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment, and supervise, train, and support warehouse staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure truck drivers depart with accurate and complete shipping documentation
• Direct and coordinate wrapping team activities to prepare orders for shipment
• Stage completed orders and load trucks for dispatch
• Lead shipping teams to complete assignments safely, accurately, and on schedule
• Ensure quality of finished goods throughout the shipping process
• Ship customer orders domestically and internationally using designated carriers and freight forwarders
• Prioritize daily shipping picks to meet customer deadlines
• Package outgoing shipments using approved corrugated and foam materials
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and perform cycle counts
• Train and onboard warehouse staff, including new hires
• Promote and enforce company policies and procedures
• Follow and encourage all safety practices; report concerns to management or the Safety Team
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment across departments
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of shipping experience
• Demonstrated history of accountability and reliability
• Experience with inventory management, cycle counts, or audits preferred
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and within deadlines
• Basic computer proficiency
• Forklift operation experience required
• Strong counting and basic math skills
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, climbing, and carrying
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
