Overview:

We are looking for a Stone Polisher/Fabricator to join our team. The Stone Polisher will be responsible for finishing natural and engineered stone materials to meet project specifications. The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, precision in craftsmanship, and a willingness to learn new techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shaping and Finishing:

• Utilize hand tools, grinders, and polishing equipment to shape and finish stone surfaces.
• Apply sealants, adhesives, and other treatments to enhance the durability and appearance of the stone.
• Ensure the final product meets quality standards and client expectations.

2. Quality Control:

• Inspect finished products for defects, accuracy, and adherence to design specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments or corrections to achieve high-quality results.
• Collaborate with quality control and project management teams to address any issues.

3. Safety:

• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Proven experience as a Stone Fabricator or similar role in the construction or manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Ability to operate hand tools.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Additional training or certification in stone fabrication is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

The role may involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged periods of standing in wet conditions.
