Qualifications/Required Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Professional Educator SLP Certification for Alabama (AL SLP Cert)
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload, traveling between three local schools
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 60 students across three schools
- Support students with communication disorders, developing and implementing IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to maximize support
- Travel between Shelby County High, Columbiana Middle, and Helena Intermediate as scheduled
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to educational and ethical standards
