Qualifications/Required Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Professional Educator SLP Certification for Alabama (AL SLP Cert)
• School-based SLP experience preferred
• Ability to manage an itinerant caseload, traveling between three local schools
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 60 students across three schools
• Support students with communication disorders, developing and implementing IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to maximize support
• Travel between Shelby County High, Columbiana Middle, and Helena Intermediate as scheduled
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to educational and ethical standards
