About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Sports Marketing & Sales Director to lead all revenue-generating initiatives, partnership development, and brand visibility efforts for a growing sports organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for strategy, execution, and performance across sponsorships, corporate partnerships, ticket sales, promotions, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing and sales strategies to increase brand awareness and drive revenue.
• Lead and grow sales teams focused on sponsorships, ticketing, advertising, and corporate partnerships.
• Build and manage strong relationships with businesses, sponsors, media outlets, and community partners.
• Oversee branding, promotional campaigns, digital marketing, and in-game fan engagement initiatives.
• Analyze market trends and performance data to maximize ROI and identify new growth opportunities.
• Manage annual marketing and sales budgets.
• Collaborate closely with event operations, coaching, and executive leadership to align organizational goals.
• Represent the organization at networking events, community functions, and client meetings.
• Monitor and measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Ensure all marketing materials and communications align with brand guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, or related field (Master’s preferred but not required).
• 2+ years of experience in sports marketing, sponsorship sales, or related leadership role.
• Demonstrated success in revenue growth, partnership development, and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, and fan engagement strategies.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings/weekends for events.
• Creative, strategic thinker with strong analytical and project management skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience working with sports organizations, athletic programs, or entertainment venues.
• Existing network of regional or national corporate sponsors.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, social media strategy, and campaign tracking tools.
