BILINGUAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (JAPANESE)

Decatur, AL

Position Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual Executive Coordinator fluent in Japanese to provide confidential, high-level support to the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Carbon Fiber Division in Decatur, Alabama , as well as other senior leaders. In this role, you will coordinate critical schedules, manage executive travel, and facilitate seamless communication between U.S. and Japan-based teams. Your attention to detail, cultural sensitivity, and discretion will ensure that executive operations run smoothly throughout every phase of the probationary period and beyond.

Hourly Pay Rate: $28.00- $30.00, depending on experience

Hours : Monday through Friday (40-hour week)

Responsibilities

You will manage confidential records, process expense reports using Concur, and support the implementation of visitor-management systems. Additionally, you will contribute to corporate events, VIP visits, and community outreach initiatives, and provide backup assistance to the Senior Executive Assistant as needed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED (a degree in Business Administration preferred) and brings at least three years of executive-level administrative experience .

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Concur expense reporting is essential.

You must be fully fluent in Japanese and English, with strong translation and interpretation skills and a solid understanding of Japanese business customs.

Exceptional communication, time management, and confidentiality skills are required, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment.

Physical & Compliance Requirements

This office-based position requires the ability to lift up to 10 pounds and perform routine computer-based tasks occasionally.

You must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking both English and Japanese at a professional level.

Under U.S. export control regulations, we will collect information on citizenship and work authorization solely for the purpose of screening.

Compensation and Benefits

The hiring company offers a highly competitive hourly rate ranging from $28.00 to $30.00, which is equivalent to an annual salary of $58,240 to $62,400 for permanent employees. After completing a probationary period of 520 hours, you will be eligible for a permanent role with this pay structure, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
