iPaaS Workato & NetSuite Technical Integration Specialist Consultant

The Integration Specialist to lead the system integrations for our ERP project involving NetSuite. They will have extensive experience in integrating multiple systems, including those with GxP and SOX compliance requirements. This role requires deep knowledge of NetSuite configuration and customizations, as well as the ability to ensure implementation partners set up or configure integrations appropriately. The role will involve using various integration methods such as APIs, direct/pre-built connectors, web services, and an iPaaS tool ( Workato ). Additionally, they will be responsible for ensuring network readiness and configurations to support seamless integration.

EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

At least 5 years of system integration experience.

Min 4 years of NetSuite

Deep knowledge of NetSuite configuration and customizations, and their impact on integrations.

Strong knowledge of GxP and SOX compliance requirements.

Strong experience with Workato - integration methods such as APIs, direct/pre-built connectors, web services, and an iPaaS tool

Proficiency in integration methods such as APIs, direct/pre-built connectors, web services, and iPaaS tools.

Experience with integration tools and platforms with Workato.

Proven experience in system integration, particularly with ERP systems like NetSuite.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with network configurations, including firewall rules, routing, port configurations, segmentation, IP addressing, DNS registrations, bandwidth and latency requirements, NTP time sync, DHCP configurations, proxy/load balancer setups, and JAR/driver files setup.

Experience working with implementation partners to coordinate integration activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review Requirements and Obtain Business Confirmation: Collaborate with stakeholders to review integration requirements and obtain business confirmation.

Define Transformation and Validation Rules: Oversight of partners to establish rules for data transformation and validation to ensure data integrity and compliance.

Define Overall Technical Architecture: Drive the technical architecture for integration design, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.

Design Integration Workflows: Oversight of partners to develop detailed integration workflows to guide the integration process.

Select Integration Platform or Middleware: Evaluate and select appropriate integration platforms or middleware solutions.

Data Mapping: Oversight of partners in creating data mapping documents and defining transformation rules and logic.

Documentation and Review: Document all design activities and conduct reviews with stakeholders and implementation partners.

Implementation and Development

Build Action Plan: Oversight of partners to develop a detailed action plan for integration activities.

Create Connection Between Systems: Oversight of partners to establish connections between systems using APIs, direct/pre-built connectors, web services, and iPaaS tools.

Develop Integration Components and Flows: Coordinate the creation of integration components and workflows to facilitate data exchange.

Implement Logging and Error Handling: Drive the development of logging and error handling mechanisms to monitor integration processes.

Configuration and Parameterization: Oversight of partners in the configuration of integration tools and systems, including parameterization settings.

Configure Security Controls: Drive the Implementation of security controls to protect data and systems.

Set Up Reconciliation Processes: Oversight of partners in establishing the reconciliation processes to ensure data consistency and integrity.

Code Review and Quality Checks: Conduct code reviews and quality checks to ensure integration components meet standards.

Unit Testing: Ensure testing to validate integration components and workflows.

Build Technical Specifications: Oversight of partners in the development of technical specifications for integration solutions.

Document Deployment Instructions: Create detailed deployment instructions for integration solutions.

Collaborate with Implementation Partners: Work closely with implementation partners to coordinate integration activities and ensure alignment with project goals.

Testing and Validation

Test Planning and Scope: Oversight of partners for the development of a comprehensive test plan and define the scope of testing activities.

Test Cases Development: Coordinate the Creation of detailed test cases for integration scenarios.

System/Regression and End-to-End Scenarios Testing: Conduct system, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure integration functionality.

Validate Data Sync Accuracy and Completeness: Ensure data synchronization accuracy and completeness across systems.

Test Connection Reliability and Error Handling: Validate connection reliability and error handling mechanisms.

Perform System Testing as a Whole: Conduct system testing to validate overall integration performance.

Defect Management and Resolution: Ensure the identification, tracking, and resolution of all defects found during testing.

Conduct Performance and Volume Testing: Perform performance and volume testing to ensure integration scalability.

Simulate Failure and Recovery Situations: Test integration resilience by simulating failure and recovery scenarios.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Assist in UAT to ensure integration meets business requirements.

Obtain Stakeholder's Sign-Off: Secure final sign-off from stakeholders after successful testing.

Deploy and Post-Deployment

Finalize Cutover and Rollback Plans: Ensure the development and finalization of cutover and rollback plans to ensure a smooth transition.

Prepare Production Environment and Ensure Readiness: Prepare the production environment and ensure it is ready for deployment.

Prepare Deployment Scripts and Follow Deployment Documentation: Coordinate the creation and execution of deployment scripts, adhering to deployment documentation.

Go Live and Smoke Test Integrations: Ensure partners execute the go-live process and perform smoke tests to verify integration functionality.

Post-Deployment Verification and Monitoring: Conduct post-deployment verification and monitor integration performance.

Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders throughout the deployment process.

Provide Hypercare and Transition Support: Offer hypercare support and assist in transitioning to steady-state operations.

Compliance and Security
