Position: RN-MedSurg (Travel/Contract)

We're hiring experienced RN-MedSurg for a 13-week contract in Gadsden, Alabama — earn up to ($1722 - $1812 per week) while providing essential care at a leading facility. Most candidates will need to have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg setting, ensuring safety and comfort.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

• Assist in achieving departmental targets and contribute to team success.

• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments accurately.

• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

• Engage in performance evaluations and set personal goals for improvement.

• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols in patient care.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

• Utilize electronic health records to maintain accurate patient information.

• Adapt to changing patient needs and work environment efficiently.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current RN license in Alabama or compact state for travel nursing.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning.

• Experience in MedSurg nursing, with a minimum of 2 years preferred.

• Understanding of infection control protocols and patient safety standards.

• Willingness to work towards departmental targets and team success.

• Strong communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.

• Ability to adapt to fast-paced and changing healthcare environments.

• Ability to set personal goals and engage in performance evaluations.

• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation practices.

• Experience in developing patient care plans with a collaborative approach.
