**Job Description** Do you have a passion for designing and developing new frameworks/cloud services and working with Oracle's most critical customers? As a Linux OS expert in our team, you will work with a team of engineers responsible for building a new cloud service to improve collaboration among different development and operations teams. You should be a highly self-motivated individual in the team that builds and evolves this service over time with new capabilities and optimizations. A deep level of understanding will be needed across the board as this service will touch many areas ranging from hardware, OS, cloud, and security. The ideal candidate will have: · Technical experience with Linux OS and security features, distributed systems, and CI/CD pipelines at a detailed level while understanding high-level design · Good collaboration with different teams that come from different backgrounds · Clear and concise communication · Strong troubleshooting skills and a curiosity to dig deep and quickly understand new issues Career Level - IC3 Responsibilities: *VISA sponsorship is not available for this role* *Weekend On-call rotation will be required.* Who are we? As a member of our global team, you will: · Design architectures and create new services that operate reliably at an extremely large scale · Implement capabilities and features ranging from OS level config changes, OS agents, and deployment pipelines · Technically strong and productive; someone who knows how to balance speed and quality with iterative and incremental improvements. · Understand operational excellence and know-how to infuse a culture of being proactive within your team. · Recommend and justify major changes to new and existing products and establish consensus with data-driven approaches. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
