Maintenance Mechanic
Seneca Foods is one of the most highly integrated fruit and vegetable processing companies in the US. We manage many—and in some cases all—aspects of production. At Seneca, we produce seeds, harvest crops, manufacture our own containers and provide a wide range of nutritious fruit and vegetable products. Seneca Foods Corporation of Montgomery, MN, a food production and distribution center located approximately 35 miles southwest of the Twin Cities metro, currently has an opening for full-time Maintenance Mechanic. Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintenance of canning room equipment, etc.
- Maintenance of other areas as instructed.
- Appropriate budget planning and cost control.
- Seasonal employee supervision.
- Pack duties as assigned.
- Employee relations.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Willingness and ability to work and function in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Good mechanical repair and trouble shooting skills.
- Two-year degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
