Step into a typical day as our Journeyman Wireman in Mobile, AL 36608: you arrive on site, review the day’s plans with the team, and translate blueprints into safe, reliable power. You’ll install and service electrical systems, troubleshoot issues before they become outages, and ensure every connection meets code and client expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan work.
- Perform routine inspections and proactive troubleshooting to resolve issues quickly.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Coordinate with other trades and team members to hit project milestones.
- Document work performed and materials used with precise, timely records.
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging electrical technology.
What You Bring
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Alabama.
- Proven experience with a strong grasp of commercial electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Sharp problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and electrical regulations.
- Capability to lift heavy equipment and work across varied environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
