Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available in Semmes, AL, for a paraprofessional to support educational staff within local schools. This role is on-site, facilitating school psychologists and assisting in student services from March 2026 through May 29, 2026.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting educational staff such as school psychologists, speech aides, and teachers.
- Assisting with classroom activities and student needs during regular school hours.
- Collaborating with school personnel to implement strategies that support students educational and developmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional, speech aide, or teacher preferred.
- Background in psychology or a bachelors degree in psychology is highly desirable.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, over 18 years old.
- Ability to provide two professional references.
- Local candidates with availability for an initial pre-screen and internal interviews.
Work schedule:
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Work hours are 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
