The Vice President of Talent Acquisition provides strategic leadership and oversight of NaphCare's Talent Acquisition function. This executive leader is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive recruiting strategies that align with organizational growth objectives, ensuring NaphCare attracts, identifies, and hires exceptional talent across all departments and service lines. The VP of Talent Acquisition leads a team of recruiting professionals and partners closely with senior leadership to anticipate workforce needs and build sustainable talent pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop NaphCare's Talent Acquisition teams, fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture.
- Partner with executive leadership, Human Resources, and operational leaders to forecast hiring needs and align recruiting efforts accordingly.
- Establish and continuously refine recruiting processes, standards, and metrics to drive efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment across all roles, including clinical, operational, corporate, and leadership positions.
- Build and maintain robust talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, employer branding initiatives, and community and university partnerships.
- Analyze recruiting data and market intelligence to inform strategy, identify trends, and report outcomes to senior leadership.
- Manage relationships with external recruiting vendors, staffing agencies, and technology platform providers.
- Oversee the recruitment technology ecosystem, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and related platforms, ensuring optimal utilization.
- Oversee the Employee Engagement team responsible for proactive employee retention efforts at NaphCare
- Develop and manage the Talent Acquisition department budget and align expenditures with human resource needs.
- Partner with operations and other leaders to identify and address barriers to recruiting and retention, including compensation concerns, leadership challenges, workplace culture issues, scheduling needs, safety concerns, and other factors impacting staffing success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; a degree or advanced degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive talent acquisition experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale recruiting operations, preferably within healthcare, staffing, or a similarly complex, high-volume environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen with the ability to translate organizational goals into actionable recruiting strategies.
- Proven ability to build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and executive presence.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and HR technology platforms.
