Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience as a Nursing - ORT, Surgical Tech (Non-certified), or Surgical Tech (Certified)
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Skilled in preparing operating rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting with patient positioning
• Ability to anticipate the needs of surgeons and surgical team members during procedures
• Excellent communication abilities and attention to detail
• Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and safety standards
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work efficiently under pressure

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgical suites and ensure all instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and set up
• Assist surgeons and registered nurses before, during, and after operative procedures
• Handle and maintain surgical instruments and supplies throughout the operation
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care as required
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to promote an organized, safe, and effective surgical environment
• Observe, report, and document changes in patient condition

$1,331 - $1,408/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
