Regional Dry Van Company Driver W2 - Gadsden, AL
Are you a CDL-A driver looking for an OTR position with weekly home time and low physical demands? American Trucking Group offers dry van routes across the Southeast with top-notch equipment and attractive pay. Experience the joy of over-the-road driving while keeping a steady schedule that allows you to return home each week.
Home Time:
- Home weekly for a 34-hour reset. Our OTR routes ensure you get steady miles while enjoying quality time with family and your personal life.
Equipment:
- Drive modern International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and Opti-Idle systems for comfort. You can take your assigned truck and trailer home, provided there's safe parking.
No Touch Freight:
- Primarily dry van freight with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook operations. Minimal physical work means you can focus on driving efficiently.
Pay and Miles:
- Drivers can expect to earn between $900 to $1,200 weekly, based on mileage and performance. Additional compensation includes detention pay as per customer policy, layover pay at $12 per hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free driving.
Running Area:
- Regional routes throughout the Southeast, including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee. All tolls are covered through EZ Pass and toll cards.
Benefits:
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment. Company-paid life insurance of $20,000, vacation pay, and a 401(k) plan with a 50% match up to 3%. A passenger policy becomes available after 30 days, with age restrictions.
