Invariant Corporation is seeking a talented and motivated Financial Program Control Analyst with more than 5 years’ experience to provide financial, programmatic, and analytical support across a portfolio of government programs. This role serves as a key business partner to Program Management, Contracts, Operations, and senior leadership, ensuring accurate forecasting, compliant earned value reporting, and timely financial insights that drive program success.

Duties Include:

• Support program financial management including forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and monthly financial reviews.
• Prepare or support contract deliverables in coordination with Program Management.
• Track cost, schedule, risk, and performance metrics, identifying trends, issues, and opportunities for leadership decision-making.
• Coordinate with Contracts, Subcontracts, and internal stakeholders to resolve funding, billing, invoice, or cost allocation discrepancies.
• Support proposal pricing, ROM development, basis-of-estimate documentation, and schedule-driven cost estimates as required.
• Ensure all financial and program control activities comply with FAR/DFARS, internal policies, and customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Proof of U.S. Citizenship is a requirement for positions requiring a Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience or 15+ years of directly applicable financial/programmatic experience.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Required Skills

• Experience in Program Finance, FP&A, Program Controls, or similar government contracting roles.
• Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and deliverables.
• Strong forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for executive-level reporting.
• Ability to coordinate across functions and interface professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience preparing EACs, and program financial CDRLs.
• Experience supporting DoD programs.
• Exposure to proposals, cost volumes, and pricing models.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting for extended periods during desk work and meetings.
• Ability to use stairs between floors and across facilities during travel.

Requires ability to:

• Demonstrate innovation, quick learning, excellent communication skills and adaptive thinking.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, making rational decisions, and exercising good judgment is essential
• Lead a group of engineers through the maturation of a product and interface regularly with Government Customers providing updates from the development team

Work Environment:

• Sitting for extended periods of time at desk, in telecoms/meetings with peers, management.
• Lift and/or move up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to use stairs for access between floors and multiple buildings at customer worksites and Invariant facilities during travel.

This position is expected to be performed only in the state of Alabama.
