One of TEKsystems' clients, a leader in their respective industry, is looking for a QA Manager. The ideal candidate will join (in a hands-on work manager capacity) and lead an existing team of 4 QA Analysts and continue to develop their Automation tool and manage the overall QA test organization. The day-to-day job duties are below... 1)Develops and implements testing strategies and quality assurance problem reporting processes using JIRA. 2)Manages all phases of testing, i.e. system integration testing, performance testing, User Acceptance Testing utilizing all testing methodologies including white and black box testing. 3)Experience with testing automation tools: configuration, execution and ongoing changes as the IT teams make changes to the above-mentioned applications. 4) IT Quality Assurance Manager analyzes reported defects against the functional, nonfunctional, technical, system, integration and performance requirements 5) Recommends application improvements to address defects

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
