Job Summary:

The Shop Helper will perform a variety of cleaning duties in the shop, building and grounds area. This will be for a Days shift position.

Job Duties:

• Keep shop floors clean of debris.
• Will drive a forklift at times. (Forklift experience is preferred)
• Ensure restrooms and breakrooms are clean and adequately stocked.
• Keep building grounds and parking lots clean of debris and trash.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous forklift experience is helpful.
• Previous experience working in an industrial environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday
• Lift up to 30 pounds frequently
• Twist, reach and bend frequently
• Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine)
• Possess depth perception and peripheral vision
• Possess the ability to hear

Working Conditions:

• Subject to standing on hard surfaces up to 12 hours per day
• Exposure to hot and cold conditions
