Job Summary

Performs daily functions associated with distribution center operations including shipping, receiving, and value-added processing. This role works in a climate controlled warehouse.

Pay rate starts at $17/hour, then advances to $18/hour once training period is complete (typically 90 days). This position's schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. Mandatory overtime (M-F) is sometimes required depending on workload.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Receives incoming product, unloads trucks, and verifies items
• Picks material from stock using barcode scanning systems
• Processes product in the value-added departments with highest quality standards
• Operates various warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and specialized processing machinery
• Inspects all incoming and outgoing products to meet quality standards
• Follows all warehouse safety protocols and OSHA guidelines

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum high school education or equivalent
• Excellent attention to detail
• Driven to succeed
• Quality-minded
• Ability to squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
