Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Coordinator in Montgomery, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout building common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directional support and policy awareness, and report maintenance, life-threatening, and/or property-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing routine reports, logs, and other assigned security-related duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
