Grinders & Shipping Handler Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $14.50 to $17.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 03:00pm )

Shipping:

• Safely empty incoming delivery trucks using forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Check delivered goods for defects, counts, or transit damage.
• Match items on packing slips and purchase orders.
• Input received stock into the computer database.
• Pick, pack, and label outgoing manufactured goods securely.
• Generate bills of lading, manifests, and address labels.
• Arrange and secure outgoing products safely onto transport vehicles.
• Keep dock and storage areas clean and hazard-free.

Grinders:

• Grind, deburr, and polish welded steel, stainless steel, or aluminum parts.
• Eliminate sharp edges, splatter, and surface blemishes from fabricated structures.
• Prepare metal surfaces for specialized finishes like plating or powder coating.
• Use hand grinders, stationary belt sanders, or pneumatic finishing tools safely.
• Inspect finished metal pieces.
• Frequently combine duties with welding or assembly tasks depending on shop floor needs.

Grinders & Shipping Handler Qualifications:

Shipping:

• Prior work history in a warehouse, distribution center, or manufacturing environment.
• Capacity to stand for long periods
• Attention to detail for verifying shipments and logs.
• Ability to operate a forklift

Grinders:

• Lift 65 pounds or more
• Ready a tape measure
• Ability to operate hand grinders
• Inspecting finished metal surfaces

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
