What you’ll do

• Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and vital signs.
• Administer medications and vaccines
• Support clinical procedures in diverse areas such as internal medicine, and emergency medicine.
• Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure accurate documentation
• Facilitate communication between patients and medical staff to enhance patient service.
• Prepare patients for examinations, including assisting with X-rays and other diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in outpatient settings
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Basic qualifications

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Experience in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in handling EHR systems for efficient patient management.

Preferred qualifications

• Background in primary care
• CMA certification
• Fluency in Spanish Preferred
