We are currently hiring a dependable Line Cook/Food Service Worker for a facility kitchen environment. This position involves preparing and serving meals on a food line while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and food quality standards in a fast-paced setting.
Schedule & Pay
- $16/hour
- Evening Shift: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Consistent weekly schedule
Responsibilities
- Prepare food items and assist with meal setup
- Serve meals on a food line
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and serving areas
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work efficiently in a team environment
- Interact professionally in a structured facility setting
Requirements
- Previous kitchen, line cook, or food service experience helpful
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and attendance required
- Must be comfortable working inside a correctional facility and serving inmates directly
- Must be able to pass a clean background check
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures closely
