**The Role:**
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced **Senior Solution Sales Specialist** to join our team, supporting Federal Civilian agencies including DHS, DOT, SSA, and HHS. In this key overlay sales role, you will provide specialist product and industry expertise, partnering with Account, Technology, and Application sales teams to qualify and close new business for Oracle's industry-leading solutions.
**Responsibilities**
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Partner with Oracle sales representatives to architect solution strategies, qualify opportunities, and close new business within an assigned territory
+ Deliver deep product and industry expertise specific to Federal Civilian agencies, guiding teams throughout the sales cycle
+ Present, demonstrate, and articulate solution value to high-level clients, prospects, and at industry conferences
+ Lead pursuit teams in developing go-to-market and deal strategies to maximize opportunity success and market visibility
+ Manage and marshal appropriate resources for all qualified opportunities, ensuring effective capture and closure
+ Build and nurture a robust professional network and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Oracle solutions, industry trends, and competitive landscape
+ Provide training and enablement to field sales teams on industry and solution specifics as needed
+ Maintain awareness of key industry leaders and Oracle's market competition
+ Travel - 25% + required
**Required Skills and Experience:**
+ Minimum of 10 years of specialist sales experience, with a strong focus on Federal Civilian agencies (DHS, DOT, SSA, HHS preferred)
+ Proven subject matter expertise in industry and/or product space, ideally in complex IT transformations
+ Demonstrated consultative selling experience with consistent record of closing complex deals
+ Experience architecting and presenting solutions at the executive level
+ Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
+ Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex sales cycles
+ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field required

**Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only**
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $161,700 to $270,800 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
