Job Summary
W e are seeking motivated Agriculture Technician to join our Field Crew for seasonal work in a hands-on, agricultural research environment. As a crew member, you will support vital tasks related to soybean breeding and seed handling. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, value teamwork, and are detail-oriented.
Job Description
- Assist with the harvest of soybean plots or individual plants
- Bundle, thresh, count, and clean seed to support research operations
- Maintain accurate seed inventory and data records
- Follow safety protocols and contribute to a safe work environment
- Collaborate and communicate effectively within a team setting
- Support indoor processing activities from mid-November through January
- Contribute to spring planting preparations (March – April) as needed
- Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM M-F
Skills Required
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel) are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Comfortable working in outdoor and indoor environments
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- Flexibility to work extended hours when weather conditions require
Education
- High School diploma required;
Pay Rate
- $18 per hour and higher depending on experience
