Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech Language Pathologist is sought for a fully remote, 1099 contract position supporting school-aged children via telespeech services. The role involves delivering assessment and therapy services to students within a school setting, utilizing virtual platforms to provide effective speech-language intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings remotely.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with clinical and technical teams to ensure quality service delivery.
- Document student progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with educators, families, and support staff through virtual formats.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in school-based speech-language pathology.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in the state of practice.
- Experience delivering telespeech services is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency with virtual communication tools and technology.
- Ability to work independently and manage schedules within a telepractice environment.
Location: This is a 100% remote position based in Birmingham, AL.
Working under a contract model as a 1099 provider, this role offers the flexibility of telepractice while maintaining access to both clinical guidance and technical support teams. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality speech-language services in a virtual school setting.
