Fiber Splicer
Blue Streak Telecommunications is looking for an experienced Fiber Optic Splicer to join our safety-first, high-performance team. This full-time traveling role will serve projects in both Fayette and Lincoln counties , performing splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic cables to ensure top-quality network performance.
What You'll Do:
Perform fusion & mechanical splicing
Operate OTDR and fusion splice machines
Test, troubleshoot, and repair fiber systems
Read and follow fiber schematics and designs
Maintain a safe, clean job site
What We're Looking For:
Proven fiber optic splicing & troubleshooting experience
Experience with OTDR & fusion splice machines required
Knowledge of fiber schematics and engineering plans
Valid driver's license & willingness to travel
Fiber certifications a plus
Pay & Benefits:
$30.00 – $35.00/hour
